25-Year-Old Man Achieves Early Hair Loss Stabilization with Oral Minoxidil and Dutasteride

Follow-Up Evaluation

At follow-up, comparison photographs and scalp examination were performed.

The patient reported:

Treatment options discussed included increasing oral minoxidil dosage to twice daily. However, after reviewing available options, the patient chose to continue oral minoxidil while monitoring his response to the addition of dutasteride.

Oral minoxidil has become increasingly popular because it:

  • Often provides excellent results when combined with DHT-blocking medications
